There are several special procedures associated with
neurofeedback.
1) HEG is a form of Neurofeedback in which blood flow
is measured and improved.
2) The Quantitative EEG is a map of the brain developed
from an EEG that is used to help direct Neurofeedback
training.
3) Neurofeedback is used more frequently with AD/HD. AD/HD
assessments determine the need for Neurofeedback and are
used to rule out disorders which may mimic AD/HD.
4) The TOVA (Test of Variable Attention) is an objective
test for AD/HD which is usually part of the ADHD assessment.

Neurofeedback
sounds complicated, but it's as simple as learning to ride a bike with training
wheels.
